It would've been a slow, painful, and extremely boring death under Les. JBE and F King were the reasons he stayed. Alleva botched the hiring. It's fricked up across the board.

I was ready for Les to go, and there is no doubting the program was slipping a bit under his guidance, but to even suggest he "killed" it is ridiculous. LSU was still loaded, respected and ranked every year...etc. Stagnant, yes, but ripe for a newer and quality coach to take it to the next level. Orgeron is ruining it, and Alleva hastily hired him after months and months of searching for nobody, so he's more to blame than anyone. You should also include Ponimansky, or whatever the fat felon's name is.

Les Miles with a poison pill 1/9/2012, with a steady slide and no qb last three years. Les doesn't turtle up and quit the NC game maybe he is still here running hard fought in close quarters 2TE power ball between tackles with no QB.

None of the above. It's Nick Saban who single handily killed LSU and the entire SEC

I don't buy the Saba deal. LSU has been there in the thick under Miles for quite a while.

Ryan Perrilloux
The domino effect from losing him haunted Les the rest of the way.

Ryan Perrilloux -- the qb shite show began when we had to throw whoever would have backed him up to the wolves.
Oh, already mentioned

A.
He's made rash selfish decisions and has LSU athletics in a gigantic shitstorm trying to figure out how not to lose an enormous amount of money. At the very least Alleva needs to be shown the door at the end of the year and if LSU misses a bowl game LSU can't afford to have coach O hang around even with the retarded high buyout.

How? All our problems this season stems from recruiting and you can't blame that on a head coach that has been the head coach for less than a year unless you are a retard. Are you a retard? Apparently!

Les miles would've won by 40 last night in a classic frustrating blowout.
You are a retard. All the problems we are experiencing would have shown up under Les Miles' watch too if he were still coaching this season. As our problems are not because of coaching as Dave Aranda and Matt Canada, two of the best coordinators in the country and with backgrounds to prove it, didn't suddenly forget how to coach this season. That's utterly ridiculous. Our problems stem from recruiting and you can't blame recruiting problems on a head coach that has been the head coach for under a year, unless you are a retard.

College football has turned into more of a business and it has ruined the college experience everywhere....only the rich can enjoy the experience....they have run off the little man..he's home watching the game on tv..
LSU main problem is recruiting the right players and getting them to stay....too many players are leaving....WHY

It is 100% Alleva's doing. The man has no spine and continually got taken to the cleaners by various agents. Les extention/raise after Arkansas was insane, and the botching of the Jimbo hire at the end was just plain stupid. The money we are losing now is peanuts compared to what Jimbo was asking for his assistants.
