Can’t help you. Tide 34-27. Hope I’m dead wrong. Even when LSU gets close, something stupid happens

OP, your concerns are warranted. I intentionally didn't read the comments but I'm sure everyone is saying the Auburn DL is better. That's complete BS. Bama will beat the dogshit out of these dudes in the Iron Bowl.

Joe Brady and only Joe Brady can lead us to the promise land this year. The play calling the last two weeks has been atrocious and has conservative Steve & O written all over it. Just a guess but AIR BRADY alone doesn't run it up the gut that many damn times. If we can't win this year the drought will continue for a few more years.

must say as much as I want us to beat Bama, I have doubts. I feel like our OL won’t be able to protect Burrow and our DL won’t get any rush. The skill players are even but up front is where Bama has the advantages

I think lsu rolls. I honestly do. Once they start scoring, the overall confidence will shoot up in the team. Bama is suspect on D and one dimensional on offense. I look for a 38-24 type game.

Lmao. So it is bs that the auburn DL is better than the Alabama dl? Lol. One of us hasn't watched both bama and auburn this year, and it ain't me.

Yes and by a wider margin than the Gump sub primates and our Negatiger chiite heads want to think.

Auburn stopped us???? We gained over 500 yards. Trying to prove something by running in middle of Aubie D instead of being smart, A Saint's like screen pass near the goal line that should have been called on second down instead of fourth and not going for at least one FG made it 23 points instead of 35+ vs Aubie. Oh and we still won:)>

Everyone who has this "every year since 2012 we think we can beat Bama, but look how it played out" mindset needs to realize. WE as LSU fans, of course we thought, and by thought I mean we hoped LSU could beat Bama. But other fan bases and the national media always thought we'd lose basically every single year. Even 2015 when we came into the game undefeated and they had already lost one, the general idea from anyone not an LSU fan was, if Alabama gives LSU their best shot, they win, point blank.

This is the first year since honestly 2011/2012 where even national media and other fan bases, including Bama fans, see this more as the teams are pretty equal. Bama has home advantage but LSU should be hungrier given most of the starters on this team already got embarrassed by Bama at some point and NO ONE on the team has ever had LSU teammates who have beaten Bama either. Being equal in talent but having all the motivation to be the team that wants it more should be a winning recipe.

Bama might beat them, but Auburn’s dline is far better than Bama’s.

Do you think Brady would have passed more against a defense with six DBs on the field? No way he’s that stupid.

This the thing that most concerns me IF Tua plays, which I assume he will. When Tua has time he is deadly. It’s difficult to maintain coverage on their wide receivers if he is given too long.
Bama has also repeatedly made that delayed back side throw for big gains against us over the years.
This game has all the makings of a shoot out.

I'm with you - to a degree. I'm not worried much about team weaknesses. We have some, but the eye test looks like we have a better than good chance.

8 in a row will give you a complex.

If it doesn't, then you're a fool.

This post is correct. Bama has a mental edge and is at home. We will have to play very very well to win. Plus Bama has the zebras in their pocket.

Disagree. We can win this year Having said that our line of scrimmage talent level is still average. Recruiting has upped the line of scrimmage talent for the years to come.

Our two premier backs are just getting their legs under them.

More good to come.

Too bad this game is in Tuscaloosa. Even the outstanding 2007 team had a hard time with a Bama team not nearly as talented as this one.

Still hopeful.

I believe this year’s edition of the Tigas can win at Ttown 11 vs 12.

Look at the numbers from the Bama defense:

23 points to South Carolina
28 to Aggy
31 to Ole Miss

None of these teams are offensive juggernauts. None have a dominating offensive line or a QB of Burrow's class.

There's no excuse for another poor offensive output by LSU. And though I full expect Gary to be insufferable all afternoon, he's not out there on the field for the Tide.
