I had a discussion with a friend and UT fan the other day. I told him that Louisiana universally pulls for LSU unlike TX that is so divided. Furthermore, there are more LSU fans nationally that are passionate about their support of LSU and wear that support for the world to see.

I referenced the fact that I have never failed to see LSU garb in any airport I have been in inside the U.S. In fact, it is frequently the most common collegiate garb seen.

As an example of the strength of Tiger nation, please add to this thread whenever you see a stranger in a public place wearing LSU gear. List the State they were seen in and the day they were seen.

The goal of cousre is to prove that LSU has national support. The faster the list is completed the more obvious my point will be. I will keep a daily running tally of which states and how many spottings we have with the exception of Louisiana which is a given.

ONLY NEW CURRENT SIGHTINGS OF STRANGERS WEARING LSU COTHING PLEASE.

How does the point in your second paragraph (garb in airports) prove your point in the first paragraph (Louisianians universally pulling for LSU)?

Check Utah off your list. Maybe a month ago I saw a lady at the grocery store wearing an LSU shirt. Even more exciting, this last March there was a total hottie wearing an LSU shirt at the Marriott Library at the University of Utah. Sorry, no pics.

As for me, I just got my Honey Badger shirt in the mail today.

It supports but does not prove the second sentence in the first paragraph

I live in the Jackson, MS metro and virtually not a day goes by without seeing LSU gear/bumper stickers.

Back in late July at a conference at Hilton Head, I talked to a guy from Calgary, Canada, who was wearing an LSU t-shirt. I think someone had given it to him.

We are nowhere close to Bama in that regard. Them crazy gumps are EVERYWHERE. BUT... I realized years ago it's b/c of the subtle color and the simple A that often doesn't catch your eye in crowded places from Miami to Seattle.
