This is what I'm doing. I am leaving work at 4 today, probably go home and go straight to sleep. Then wake up 30 minute before game time.

Making my first trip over to Garmisch in 2 weeks to go skiing. Looking forward to it.

I'm definitely not getting any work done. I've just been sitting on the message boards waiting for the gameday chatter to start up. I had to make one phone call today which lasted 5 minutes. From here on out it's all about the game.

I also don't think Collins is in the same realm as Janzen and McKnight. He does seem like a good kid and I won't be mad at him if he goes to Bama. I think most people think the logical choice for him is LSU, but kids are kids. I will have no hard feelings for him personally if he picks Bama. I'll just be pissed that we lost a recruiting battle.

I know, it seems so ridiculous. I can't blame anyone though because I am guilty. I spent the last hour going through tweets, facebook, and forums. I'll be glad when it's over so I can start being an adult again. I caught myself analyzing a tweet he made about an auburn commit today (indicated they were friends in some way) thinking that's good for LSU since the auburn guy wouldn't like bama.

This Collins decision has me completely captured. I have to say that the most compelling thing right now seems to be his mom being upset. I suppose we don't know it for sure, but it does seem like a logical way to read those tweets he made.

LSU hints
some recruiting experts have a good feel (though dandy don rescinded his good feeling today);
Hg made a comment that nobody can see now, but people feel good after they saw it;
avery johnson says we are getting a commit on thursday;
his gf seems to be upset with him somehow based on tweets.


Bama hints
some experts say he is committing there;
gf loves bama;
mom isn't making the decision (we are construing this as her being upset with him for picking bama)

I also live in Germany and NavyTiger is absolutely correct. ESPN America usually picks out a few big games and plays them. They have the international CBS rights so they'll broadcast a few CBS games a year.

The stay at home alternatives are ESPNplayer which is the international version of ESPN3, and CBS streaming. With CBS, you need to have an american IP address. I use strongVPN. It's 60 bucks for the year or something like that. Work's great.

The last alternative is justin.tv or that other website people are mentioning.

I'm glad someone mentioned ESPN America not starting till an hour after kickoff because I had not seen that and would have been pissed if I were at the bar and watching hockey.

I don't think it's meaningless if it gets us an SEC championship as well as keeps us on the path of an undefeated season. The players have a month to rest up before the NC game. If a guy gets hurt b/c we played this game then that's just how it goes. On a side note, I do think it's completely unfair if we sustain a major injury that game while bama sits at home watching TV and they get to play in the NC.

I know it's not a state, but I saw 2 guys in Munich, Germany last week.
