WOAH. My dad is Bataan Death March Survivor. He just went to a Mukden reunion in Omaha, NE last week. (Mukden was where the POW camp was in China, now Shenyang.) Will be home on Thursday (he's driving). He's 89, will be 90 on the 19th.

Our Captain spoke about the march, to give us a little extra motivation to pick up our spirits because of the longevity of our deployment. We salute your father and all the other military personnel that sadly perished and bravely endured the horrific treatment by the japanese during that march. We bring forth their history as we write our own story, in service to our country and their memory during our deployment to (areas i can not speak of and actions i cannot confirm or deny) in the # fleet area of operations.

There are several LSU fans in NJ. Other than myself when I was up there, I saw a guy wearing a LSU visor on the boardwalk in Atlantic City and a guy wearing a 07 BCSNCG shirt on a train passing through trenton.

Just last week, I saw a total stranger with a big LSU sticker on their back glass here in Oregon.

I referenced the fact that I have never failed to see LSU garb in any airport I have been in inside the U.S. In fact, it is frequently the most common collegiate garb seen.

But I have to call BS on this. Methinks you are being a little too homerific.

Though according to this, we were the 4th best selling school in 2010. But Texas is consistently number 1.

·This marked the fifth consecutive year The University of Texas at Austin ranked No. 1 in CLC’s fiscal year-end rankings.

My dad wrote a book and I recently converted it to .pdf format. You can download it here if you're interested in reading it.

By the Grace of God

It has grammatical errors but dad wanted to do it 100% on his own, in his words.

ETA: It's just under 11 MB

Last summer I was in Europe and I saw people sporting LSU gear in London, Paris, Florence,& Capri.

Fun story on LSU gear. A friend of mine was in the Tucson airport going to the Women in Sports meetings a couple of weeks ago and she was wearing her LSU t-shirt. She walked past Phil Knight and he commented on her LSU shirt. She ended up talking to him for a few minutes about the LSU/Oregon game.

I currently live in Columbia, SC. It's the middle of gamcock country. But every once and ahwile I see my Tigah fans. Most of them are passing thru. LSU fans are always traveling. So I don't know what your trying to prove but just cuz you see somebody doesnt mean they live where you see.
