LSU grad but do not live in La. I just dont feel the hype and enthusiasm about this game like there was before the Florida game. Please tell me I am wrong. Is BR buzzing with excitement about this top 10 showdown in Tiger Stadium? Are the baws ready to showout? Are the fan fricking ready to get crunk?

Being that far removed from the situation it might be easy to trick yourself into that. The place will be rocking Saturday. The team is not going to overlook a top 10 team with that type of defensive line talent.

How could you not be amped for every game this season? I’m stoked and the fan base hasn’t been like this since 2011.

Auburn about to get run. Our D is as good if not better. Look at the numbers. The passing game is the difference. They wont be able to stop us without lots of turnovers.

Auburn fans are skeptical.

Hey, man. I am not there either. But this is a top tier DLine in a top 10 matchup. It's hard to gauge these things from out of state, but that place will be ready.

41-24 LSU

It's there, here, everywhere!!! Maybe it's a little more reserved, but not apprehensive. more like the calm before the storm. We know what's coming, we know this team has more to prove and more work to do. And they know it too. There's still non-believers out there, and this defense has a lot to prove. Baton Rouge and the entire state of Louisiana will be rocking come Saturday!!!

OP is right. The excitement level is BR is about 1/3 or what it was for Florida game. Everyone is looking forward to Bama.

Meanwhile Auburn is being quiet.

Has me worried.

There’s nothing we can do about the fans. Just hope the team is fully prepared Malzahn has a way of playing one or two games a year at a top 2 level.

I am nervous before any game even when I played but after kickoff and the first play I settle in every time! This years team is different than most I have seen in my lifetime. I am less nervous this year than anytime I can remember

Exactly!!! That is IT!!! Thank you, I just couldn't find the right way to say it. But that is it!!! Focus! And with all these big-tie recruits picking LSU and Burrow being mentioned for the Heisman, there's a LOT of interest and buzz about the LSU program!!! I really wish Flowe would catch the LSU buzz, but don't look like he will. Webb is another I'd like to see at LSU. Our current commits list will look different come dec than it does now. Maybe not a lot, but at least some. And that will be a good thing, very good!!!

I'm having trouble focusing on this game and not looking ahead to Bama....

Coach O needs to give me a pep talk.

Being an LSU grad you obviously know that a night game is completely different in Death Valley than a day game no matter the importance of the game!

That being said it will be rocking but won’t compare to the gator game watch and see

Remember UF had a little more “hype” given the fact they had not played in BR since 2016. Auburn doesn’t have that story line - this game is always a dog fight.

I noticed that too. I was actually impressed that on their BBs a lot of their fans weren't being complete homers and were predicting an LSU win. I know I tend to get caught up in the excitement of "my team" and get overly optimistic, but a lot of them are keeping it Brockmire.

Burrows comments after the state game that “if we play like this against other opponents we’ll get beat” after beating the mess out of State gives me a ton of confidence. That’s leadership. They’ll be ready to play.
