Helmet Idea

NOTE This is just an idea for an alternate. LSU has THE most badass helmet in all of College football.
I'm all for the "old school" helmets and uniforms. And actually, I'm not a fan of the small changes to the uniform. They don't make me mad and I don't love the Tigers any less.
I was a big fan of the Gold helmets we had in 09 (I think it was) against Arkansas. Those were badass.
But what if we had a helmet kind of like the eagle's helmet. with the wings? Instead of wings, we had the eyes of the tiger?
It's kind of hidden, but look at the eyes in my Sig. Something similar to that

i can use photoshop.. but idk about for this... I could try. I have a few ideas in mind...
A black matte helmet with the glowing eyes... white, purple or gold (reflective) facemask.. maybe chrome..
A white glossy helmet with the eyes, white facemask
Camo? idk.. sounds good, but will probably just look goofy.
Maybe a purple matte helmet (Like the Vikings)?
What do you think? And what about the actual uniforms?

The eye of the tiger is a cool logo. looks hella lame on a helmet.

Nooooo I'm sorry. I should've specified. I meant just as an alternate. Like wear them once.. Like we did with the Nike Pro Combat unis

I'm all for tradition too, but our helmets look stale and need a refresh.
LSU actually used a different tiger head logo on our helmet this year. It was a little cleaner than the old one, but is still a mess.
I love the tiger eye - it's distinctive and noticeable. Hell, it's our midfield logo, and it's looks fantastic. Wish we would use it on the helmets too.

I agree.. Unless we move it to simulate an actual Tiger. Maybe blow it up on both sides of the helmet to make it a "tiger head"?

The sky's the limit with this idea, you can submit to
www.tigerunis@lsu.la.edu. little known but they have a meeting bi weekly to review changes needed. It's how we got rid of the PVC pipe and why Miles must wear a long sleeve in the dead of summer.
