not hard to figure out who the target would be down a couple hours down the road in Houston.. herman will have his pick of schools very soon most likely.

And this may be the most likely scenario.

I'll puke if this happens. Herman is gonna turn somebody into a power.

I hope the powers that be at A&M are too nervous to go after another Houston coach after this Sumlin fiasco. It would be a mistake on their part not to pursue Herman but hopefully that's the way it goes.

Were ex-Michigan State coaches tearing up the SEC when LSU hired Saban?

So don't even bother to judge each different coach on their own merits. If they've ever coached at Houston they're bound to fail.

You people are so fricking stupid with this shite.

no...its just kinda funny

Aggie hires hot new coach from Houston with amazing offense, he fails, so they hire another hot new coach from Houston with amazing offense

Hey Les, if you're reading this, take the deal. We are going to give you another undeserved pay raise.

I apologize. U of H coaches that run high powered offenses are a sure thing in the SEC. Total can't miss situation.

Am I doing it right for you?

Believe me, I hope they're gun-shy because I think Herman is going to be good.

My post was aimed more at Gray Tiger who is clearly asserting that Herman shouldn't get a big time job in the SEC since Sumlin has failed.

would be pretty funny to watch A&M try top justify why they don't have t pay Miles' buyout while they're still battling in court over Chavis'

Can you imagine the melt on this board if Les leverages this into an extension and raise?

I suppose we do. Outside of Sumlin, Art Briles has turned Baylor from a doormat into a team that has been in contention for the playoffs the past two seasons. Hell, he converted a WR into a 4th string QB and nearly beat his rival Texas. He can flat out coach.

No moron, you're not. Where have I stated the he's a sure thing because he's running a high powered offense at Houston? Please show me.

Total can't miss situation because he's coming from Houston? Nope. Show me that one too.

I'll say it again: You people are so fricking stupid with this shite.

I could see that happening, but A&M isn't considering hiring Les.

I'll be done as a LSU football supporter. To go from nearly fired to a raise would short circuit my brain. I couldn't handle the cognitive dissonance.
