I really hope he wins the Heisman, but I want the Tigers to win a NC over the Heisman.

That 1998 Kansas State team was sick. Too bad they choked against TAMU

Which is noted in the graph.

If you'd like, look at it and just pretend Fournette isn't on there. But we all know what this graph is for: comparing Fournette's last game to past Heisman winners.

That works both ways. Tougher teams means more carries, theoretically.

You're right.

If 150 is his low for the season, which i hope it is. I'll consider myself very blessed to have been able to watch it all.

This is very interesting. It gives the impression that every winner got a mulligan. Hopefully, Fournette will not need one.

Seriously guys. I love LF7 and he'll win the award. But at this time this is one of the stupidest graphics possible. It literally has 2 requirements. That you be a Heisman winner (this next part is a prerequisite of the first one) and have finished the season. Come on now.

It has one requirement: Heisman winner. And you just said:

he'll win the award.

So just enjoy it.

The stat is the season-low rushing yards. Is that not what was posted?

I mean look at all those guys that had a season low after week 7. They should by default be ahead of Leonard.

Ive lost respect for the objectivity of this board. People honestly think im knocking LF7 i think. fricking insane.

Really the only thing I take away from this is that in the final game of the regular season, Ingram ran for 30 yards on 16 attempts (1.9 ypc) and still won the Heisman.

He could rush for 70 yards in each of the remaining 4 games, but if LSU wins all 4, he's almost a lock for the Heisman.

He could go for 150 in each of the final 4 games, but if LSU goes 1-3 or 0-4, he loses to someone else.

Stats are great, but winning is more important, especially for a RB. Melvin Gordon had the 5th best rushing season of all time (pre-bowl game) and still finished a DISTANT second to Mariota last season. Mariota was also deserving, but why such a big discrepancy? Simple. Oregon was the Pac 12 champ heading to the playoffs. Wisc. had 3 losses. The last of which by 59 points to OSU

I hope Fournette repays Alabama for Shaun Alexander.
