I usually get upset when a player opts out of a bowl, but in JD's case, there's really absolutely nothing whatsoever for him to gain. I'd feel horrible if he got hurt against an unranked Wisconsin team in a meaningless bowl game. I hope JD chooses to leave. He's done more than enough for us.
Nuss having a full start with 100% preparation as the starter will benefit us more greatly towards our opener with USC anyway.

Doubtful, but with that garbage Wisconsin team you can guarantee it will be just like the Purdue game last year maybe weighted more toward Nuss. It's honestly not even worth it.
