For those going to the game Sunday, it will be hotter than Saturday. Heat index expected to reach 110° as late as 7 pm.

Weather channel app shows heat index at 96 at 5 which is about 9 degrees cooler than first pitch yesterday.

When teams go to altitude, it absolutely affects them. Some places have altitude…we have the swamp. lol

Their coach mentioned it in the postgame. Some on the rant questioned weather baseball players exerted enough to be bothered by the heat. I bet the catcher for WV was praying for 3 outs in the 5th and 6th.

I know the starting pitchers gets to pick the uni combo but I thought wearing purple yesterday was a curious choice given the start time and heat.

It’s 69° in Morgantown right now. High is supposed to be in the low 70s.

And we’re not gonna admit it either, but the heat affected us some yesterday too. Anderson was gassed a lot sooner than he would have normally been. Lead to him giving up a few more runs than he would have normally gave up.
