Johnny Derrick retiring is big news for Kim and LSU WBB. He has been with Kim for 24 years since she arrived at Baylor in 2000, and has been a part of her 4 Nat'l Championships. He has been very loyal to Kim. Enjoy your retirement Johnny, you deserve it. Kim's speech was long and very emotional, tears in her eyes. She has been attacked so many times since she arrived at LSU, more than any HC in the country. It seems it took a toll on our feisty Coach, especially those who attacked her girls, LSU and the state of LA. I think the idiot governor stabbed her in the heart.

Kramer was there. Sitting right in front. She seemed a bit stung by all the critics but stood tall. Said she didn’t come back to La to do any harm but to do good things. You have to admire her. She’ll be fine. She was complimentary of HVL and honestly wishes the best for her.
