I am going to Tuscaloosa next week!
What would be your suggestion, to get a tour of your campus and the athletic facilities?

So the State Capital Building and Grounds, The River Center, Belle of Baton Rouge Casino, U.S.S. Kidd Memorial Museum, Baton Rouge Zoo, Mall of Louisiana, Old State Capital Building, B.R.Garden District, Parks and Golf Courses, Ruffino's, Mike Anderson's, just like........ don't exist to you ????????????????????
You haven't traveled much have you? There's some good food and good people in BR, but the city is a joke.
USS Kidd was boring even when I was 8. Casino's, only if you enjoy the putrid smell of cigarettes. Maybe they have improved, I haven't stepped foot on one of those boats in 10 years. Last time I went I had to throw away the clothes I was wearing because they smelled so bad afterwards.
Mall of LA? Really? When you travel, do you make the local mall a go to destination? Sure, it's a nice mall but you're showing how limited the activities are that the city has to offer.
BR Zoo is pretty good, I'll give you that and you listed some of my favorite places to eat.

To tourists and people that have NEVER visited Baton Rouge and seen the USS Kidd, the State Capital Building, BR Zoo, casinos, hotels, parks, golf courses, restaurants etc., how is it a "joke" ????
To the people who make their livlihoods running those places, and to the BR officials who market them for tourism dollars, I'm sure it's not a 'joke.'
Why don't you let the people who visit the city's attractions decide that?
Who TF are YOUUUUUUUUUU ??? Robin Leach ?????

Yeah, that's the only place I mentioned. The River Center. Nothing else.

BR downtown has a fun nightlife. Don't listen to the "BR sucks.BR is a joke" elitists. You can fun anywhere. I've prolly been to 50 college towns and BR is in the top ten. I'd love hear these other great towns these posters favor. It's no Austin or Nashville but it's fun enough.
