Loved my visit to Baton Rouge. Got back earlier this morning. I wore a Bama hat and got the standard "Tiger Bait". I gave a Roll Tide back. Really the LSU fans I met were great. Very complimentary of Bama's program. But also VERY adamant that Bama will lose big time this Nov. Actually had some LSU fans buy me a beer. I bought them shots in return. Had my first bowl of pure Louisiana gumbo and also some crawfish. Not bad.

LSU's campus is beautiful. Great environment.Had a great time. But I am thinking I won't be as well received there this Nov.

I think that's a safe prediction.

Most LSU fans are great. Baton Rouge and south Louisiana is usually a friendly place. As an LSU fan, I've had a good time with fans from most SEC schools....just not Florida.

Ted, sure you will. As I have mentioned in other similar threads - in '08 when Saban 'returned' to DV, there was only a minor hubbub by some fans in the stands when Saban was announced.
During the day, it was business as usual at an LSU/Bama game in BR - crimson, purple, white and gold mixing together under countless canopies, tents, and tailgates all across campus - talking, eating , drinking, watching games, partying etc. - with the customary few ignorant teenagers thinking they are 'showing off' to their buddies by being rude.
I am still baffled why this small minority of idiots is put on a pedestal and given credence.
They should just be totally ignored.
The majority of the 120,000 - 135,000 people that will be on campus will either be oblivious to, non-confrontational to, or ignore Bama fans as they are enjoying the day.
Many Tiger fans will be welcoming, smiling, good-natured, and generous with whatever they can.

It is the idiots that should be simply ignored, not given an audience - and they have them at every large state college campus. (and nooooo, I don't want to hear 'well there are more of them at LSU blah blah'. No, there aren't. If you have 130,000 people in one large general spread-out area, you will see people of all kinds spread out everywhere. If you see an imbecile, simply turn around. That's it.
Don't understand why this is so difficult....

I think the tours are done by the LSU ambassadors. fat chicks and gay dudes. Just walk around yourself brah. you're gonna have to take a car from campus to alex box though to inspect our many baseball accomplishments.

Didn't know LSU band members gave tours of the campus.

Florida fans seem so aloof and arrogant.I admit other than my good looks and charm,I'm not that impressive, but Florida fans seem to feel like I should bow when they pass!
