Brandon Harris? Cmon, he was starter for one year and one game. As terrible as the Whisky game was, Les was giving his starter a chance to get acclimated. Didn't happen and he put EtLing in when it had to be done against Jacksonville St
There was no suitable backup last year as Jennings had already failed. Harris actually started 2015 decent but went downhill.

Good coaches with elite talent don't get their shite pushed in 3 weeks in a row, only to barely squeak by in the final game against the worst team in the West.

he hasnt pulled a #1 class but he has the most in the league... wouldnt that be a sign of being able to coach your players up?

Especially when you can't compete for a national title or even a conference title without beating them.
If you're the Ohio state coach and you can't beat Michigan you get canned. If you're the Michigan coach and you can't beat Ohio state you get canned. If you're the LSU coach and you can't beat Bama...you get an extension and a raise.
