I will never understand how you people annoint these guys as superstars before ever even hitting the field. If lsu wins i dont give a shite who is qb. i dont care if he throws like shite and cant run as long as we win. When the hell did winning start taking second place to stats?

I don't see it. He's erratic and inaccurate. Needs a lot of work on mechanics with Cam. He has an absolute cannon though.
I don't think it's a foregone conclusion like many on here seem to think. I think Rettig redshirted because of his injury and the act he needed work under center. Also Jennings was #2 because he brought some thing to the table the starter did not. Whoever Cam chooses will be deserving.

That actually does mean he's better. Now Rettig can get better and be better than him, but it was Jennings who rose above Rivers, and it was Rettig who was reported to be way behind the first 3 QBs. I like that both are mobile. I like that Jennings is accurate with great pocket presence, and Rettig has a big arm, we'll see who comes out on top. I think Harris owns it in 2016 though. I expect 3500 total yards from him when Cam finishes working his magic.

my point is that if you lose the battle especially freshman year it doesn't mean jack shite. these are 18 year olds who will mature mentally and physically in the next year or two.
some come in already having maxed out there potential - some continue to grow and mature.
crowing Jennings anything right now calling anything suggesting otherwise a "troll thread" or something similar is ridiculous. not saying you were doing that but the thread is littered with that ridiculousness.
