Hawaii Bullpen Out of Control
The ball hit my son squarely in the shoulder. There was no barely scrapping the hat about it. The pathetic security guard and the jerk fans did not even ask if he was ok. Several were extremely concerned about the "bad language". None concerned about my son being hit with the ball. No one on the Hawaii team apologized. The security guard did not ask us what happened he simply threatened us with ejection due to bad language. All around awful experience fans, LSU security and Hawaii team all at expectation...jerks. After I confronted the security guard he said oh I did not know... I said you could have asked what happened instead of immediately threatening to eject us. They did finally send a cop down to check on us. The policemen was very nice.

This. I was by there. The fans were more worried about the kids hearing the f word. It def is more of a family atmosphere now then a baseball atmosphere

I know im a little late, but I saw the whole thing transpire. Definitely was a just reaction considering the speed of that ball coming in.

yall are claiming by that the fan getting mad about getting hit by s baseball while at a baseball game and being so shocked he screams cuss words is the true baseball fan?

You are at a baseball game. Baseballs end up in stands. If you are shocked by this maybe you are the problem

Your critical thinking skills are as bad as that relief pitcher’s aim.

Yea, foul balls. If I'm at a 9 year old's little league game, yea I might expect some terrible errant throws.

When I'm at a D1 college baseball game I'm not watching the bullpen pitcher at all times on the chance that he cannot throw the ball to the catcher in a manner that it can be caught.

The fans at the new Box are soft. At the old Box they would NEVER treat opposing teams in regionals like they do at the new one.

I remember growing up in the 3rd base bleachers and having the "Bleacher Creatures" give so much shite to opposing coaches and players. I remember when Leroy started his yelling as well but he was kind of the start of the "humorous" and "friendly" heckling. It was funny at first but got old quick. The Bleacher Creature type stuff was vintage heckling.

Now, we have fans encouraging opposing teams to take victory laps because they lost. You never see them do that shite when LSU loses.

Take me back to the 90's
