there is a reason he didn't start at auburn
he started in 51 of their 53 games last year and 40 of their 58 games the year prior. What are you talking about?

He’s a solid guy for a 9 hole & his defense is so much better in the OF compared to everyone but Curiel.
I think the lineup is strong enough to support him there. He’s a .280/.345/.390 type guy in SEC
Agreed.

It's just tough because even Pearson against lefties has been really really good
We've been really good against lefties as a team this year. As a team we're batting .355 against LHPs and .327 against RHPs.

Larson hit .337 in SEC play last year, which led the team.

He's not great at reading the ball off the bat either.

Kling didn’t start the full season. I’m talking about a starter who you considered a key component of your outfield.
I’d consider him a scrub for us. Happy he’s doing well back home where’s he’s comfortable

Playing speed is always superior to cage speed. The guy needs to see time.
You’re not wrong, but my post was in response to those saying Larson should be playing over Stanfield

and he’s killing it but the big 10 isn’t the SEC.
No doubt. No way he gets drafted out of the Big 10.

Kling wasn’t a starter which is why he went to another School
He was a starter and was told he would compete for a starting job in 2025. Seems like he was homesick and also may have been pressing too much with the star power challenging him. He found a great role. Has nobody over his shoulder to take his position and is close to home.

I recall that Kling had lost his starting role by the end of last season. Hard to imagine he would have been a starter this season, he made a good decision to transfer and I wish him the best.

people get drafted out of everywhere.
MLB will draft him for tools alone but that doesn’t mean he would be a good player here.
