I am still shocked by how unpreapared that team looked last night. That team looked like they did not want to play a football game. The defense is what it is. We have had a serious talent drain there and it has not been addressed recruiting wise. The offense is another story. LSU looked like they thought it was going to be a cakewalk and then like the had no fire in them at all. I still can't believe the let an depleted Ole Miss kick their arse like that. Miles and company are seriously close to fricking up this program, if he doesn't land the states top recruits and LF next year we will see more game like this. It really pains me that Miles can't get his shite together and get these kids playing ball with passion and desire week in and week out.

We had a game plan. It wasn't executed well. We lost an SEC game on the road. Get over it. Those guys are on scholarship too.

Losing the game is one thing, I'm looking at the bigger picture here. That being the state of the program with Miles as its' head coach.

Let me guess: you knew that LSU would lose this game the day Miles was hired, which explains your long standing hostility to him?

Dude- we have been within 1 score in our last 7 losses, and have had a tie or lead w/,in two minutes of last 4 losses.

Get a little fricking perspective.

You are just now getting to be shocked over this?

We have looked unprepared for at least 2 games per season every since 2008. There's a pattern here, and for those who can't or don't want to see it, your silver lining is another meaningless bowl game where LSU plays more uninspired football.

Exactly.

First drive, LSU moved easily to the OM 38, then the OL didn't block and Mett got sacked.

Second drive, LSU STARTED at the 38, and Mett threw a terrible INT.

Third drive was average. Had a 4th down at the OM 44.

Fourth drive, LSU drove to the OM 20, and again, Mett threw a bad INT.

Fifth drive, LSU drove to the LSU 47 and then another INT.

It was a decent gameplan, and Cameron would expect that Mett would be smart enough not to throw into double coverage, or underthrow his WRs. He had no reason through 7 games to think he would.

Their game plan >>> LSU's game plane. The execution excuse is starting to ring hollow.

Your game plan is worthless unless you have players who can make it work. Ole Miss worked theirs to near perfection with a depleted squad.

Their gameplan didn't account for Mett reverting back to his old ways. We lost. It happens a lot to Ole Miss. Players didn't respect Ole Miss and they beat us. Not much else that can be said.

Only Alabama is expected to have a good program and a winning team. It is unfair to compare Miles to them. LSU must satisfy itself with mediocrity.

Except for the fumble, muffed punt, blocked FG, 24 second half points allowed, and 3 false start penalties.

It doesn't require perfection to beat a young team like LSU. I'll concede that ZM was unprepared. But at some point he has to own that.

The game plan was as much at fault as Mett was. We went back to last year's run, run, pass on 3rd down plan. We ran into a stacked box and got behind on the down and distance. That's all on Miles, or Cam if he called those plays. We were extremely predictable in the 1st half, something we haven't really been up until last week's UF game.
