Key word, potential. The same could have been said for LaMichael James and Darron Thomas, things changed after they played LSU's D.

"Keep pumping yourself up if it makes you feel better, but at the end of the day, you will have piss all over the front of your pants."
Actually I would say that most WVU fans are very humble. We realize what we are about to face come sat. There will be no surprises. However im not sure you could say the same for LSU fans.

I thought last year's game was a huge victory for West Virginia.
I in no way ever felt threatened in that game, and it was obvious our players felt the same way.
Go ahead and mark that one down as a WV win, because the hostile environment, marquee ABC 7PM Gameday atmosphere with a couple extra days preparation snuffed out any chance for the guys to sleep through this one.
Jefferson really stunk it up in that game, if I remember correctly. But, Geno Smith may have looked worse.
I don't look for either of those two to do any better this time around.

Is this the WVU mascot?
I thought you LSU fans were more creative

This ... they had 177 yards of offense and we ran for almost that much while having ZERO passing threat!

Yea but LSU fans forget that the Peterson return was the difference in our game last year
Yea, did really watch that game? Your qb was so out of it he lined up behind his guard. Lol

Dude, do you even watch football ? Surely you have heard of Darron Thomas, No ? He was in the National Championship game last year. WVU fans would be the only ones in the country who would even compare those two guys..

Yes I did watch the game last year but maybe you can remind me what the final score was? Now take away the Peterson return and whats the final score. Just saying

Here's creative for you. Last season when you actually had a potent rushing attack you had 58 yards. 58! Our rushing defense is actually better this season, and now you have a horrible rushing attack and are one dimensional against a top flight defensive backfield and pass rush.
LSU is top 3 in tackles for loss in the country and had 15 alone against a top 25 opponent on the road last week.
This team is much better (as of now) than last years, and it will be an interesting game.

Take away your touchdowns and we'd have shut you out. See what I did there?
It happened. You lost. You lost because we have better athletes.

so special teams aren't part of football anymore. Why didn't peterson get tackled?

You won't have JJ throwing his patented 1st 2 drive INT that handed you a TD either.
If not for the INT the game is likely 20-7.

No arguement here. Someone said before that the only reason why we beat Maryland was because of a defensive return. So I used the same theory and applied it to our game last year. Even though I don't agree with it. You guys beat us fair and square last year but to this day I still question what would of happened if our GOMER coach was smart enough to not kick to him. I knew it was a TD as soon as he touched it.

Ok Peterson gets tackled at the 40 and lsu drives in a td. What's the difference? If wv doesn't get a defensive score against Maryland they lose. Your argument is like Swiss cheese.

TM7 tripped on WVU's only TD last year also. WVU runs what they call a 3-3-5, but they will have 8 in the box. LBs in the gaps and 2 DBs walked down outside the ends. So by personel they will be 3 linemen, 3 backers, and 5 DBs, but they will not be in alignment.

But what if he wore these? LINK
Posted on 9/19/11 at 10:25 pm to SnoopChizzle
They should beat him senseless.
