Have you looked at the WVU defense?

Not sure if this is right or not, but according to the WVU rivals site, looks like they run a 3-4, but where in the world is the 3.
DE Bruce Irvin 6'3", 235
NT Jorge Wright 6'2, 264
DT Julian Miller 6'4", 260
After that 3, the LBs are light weight except for Goode(238LB) at MLB. I just don't see how that defense can match up with our smash mouth running game. Looks like they are built to defend the spread offense. Hurst and Co. are licking their chops.

Exactly. They are built for speed. LSU will have a lot of success running the ball if they can wear them down. It isn't just about the size of LSU's OL, but their strength that is key (minus T-Bob of course).

LSU Running Game says good luck with that.

Their weights are wrong. I think rivals uses their high school measurements or something because on the WVU site Jorge is 289, still kind of small for a nose tackle, they lost their dominant NT from last year so Lonergan shouldn't have too much trouble. If our O line and RB's figure out how to pick up their blitz packages we'll do great against them

Their Defense uses numbers to stop the run and pass. They tend to blitze out of multiple locations.....if you break through that, you can hurt them. I figure our offense starts a bit slow and Lee winds up passing over the top. Once this happens, we begin running the ball almost exclusively, picking up 4 yards average each run.

I don't care how big he is, that dude is good. Don't know the first thing about the rest of that defense though.

Tandy is probably the best CB in the Big East. Julian Miller is probably the 2nd or 3rd best DE in the BE. The rest are really too young to say anything about yet

Looks quick, and strong. I'll raise you a Barkevious, though. Might want to remember that name, just a reminder.

This plus a punishing Tiger defense = game over mid-3rd.
