Have you ever seen BK tap one of our players for a good play?

I haven't. Nice to see Beamer recognizing it.

Wasn't making it up. I take y'all's word that you have seen it. Wonder if it's been caught on camera.

Not a major accusation, especially after a SEC win. I just looked for it and could not find anything (AI answer below).

quote:

Got it — I hunted through broadcasts and social clips (YouTube, ESPN, X, Instagram, TikTok, Reddit) for a clear, conspicuous clip of Brian Kelly patting a player at LSU (the gentle, congratulatory pat you meant). I couldn’t find a single, unambiguous “pat on the helmet/shoulder” moment that’s been clipped and shared as its own item online.

What I did find instead were a number of short sideline / postgame interaction clips where Kelly is visibly interacting with players (sometimes animatedly) — those are the most likely places a brief pat might appear if it exists in the broadcast footage.

BK paid the most money of any LSU fan for sideline tickets. He has the best seat in the house. He even gets to listen to his assistants calling plays over his headset.

Mansoor played at VT. Good chance Beamer’s daddy / family know him personally.

Hey Ivory, take your middle school participation trophy and shove it up there.

I'm not even advocating giving physical encouragement. With all the discussion about BK, I was just curious what others have observed about how he relates to players.

Lots of good answers here.

Drink bleach. Our coaches wouldn't have ever patted a player on the butt. I was just curious about today's environment.
