Are ya'll that scared to drive across town that people want the game played 5 hours away, which would completely ruin the recruiting weekend?

I suppose fans should be happy they're not playing the spring game in Houston.

Why in the world would the team travel to another city when there’s a perfectly fine football facility in town?

PS: fun fact, Southern University sits on top the very bluffs where the original "red stick" was located. So it’s arguably the most historically significant location in the city. Further, the area is a true hidden gem IMO

Yes because that $56mil profit from the athletic department should be put in a vault and never ever spent!

That’s pretty cool and now I’ll go to see the facility.

A bunch of St Georgers in here. I cannot imagine being that scared to visit another university in town.

Memorial stadium is an option but the parking is very limited
Why not just play it at the practice facility and have it on the sec network
People do not support the spring game....never have never will
Way too many things to do in south louisiana come spring time

The cement wall at Memorial Stadium is too close to the corner of the End Zone on North side. Don't want to risk any WR's/ DB's crashing into that

I think it’s a bad move and smacks of politics, Will definitely hamper attendance, who is behind this, that’s what I want to know?

Dumb!

Why? Is it really that big of a deal? There are areas around LSU that isn't really the best areas in town.. Yet you are concerned about it being at Southern?

Its the Spring Game. I can't think of any reason why this is a bad idea. If it bothers you don't go. But your response is bitch like,
