UK is obviously the most talented team in SEC. However they are young, and young, supremely talented teams sometimes have a tendency to just "show up" and expect to win. That certainly appeared to be the case when they went to Auburn earlier this year and really struggled. LSU "can" win (not saying they will) but they will have to find some offense. Offense with actual ball movement and crisp passing, not this high ball screen, hope the contested three goes in if Hamilton's not available early, crap. Let's hope LSU can keep it close throughout and find a way at the end. Being at home in college basketball is a HUGE advantage (not the crowd noise, but the familiarity of the court, sightlines, shooting backdrop) and if you watch the sport regularly you'll see several teams with "no chance" each year pull off home upsets.

While it's not probable, these types of upsets happen weekly in college basketball.

There were the same types of laughing threads prior to the Marquette game, anytime anyone suggested a possible upset.

I will be surprised if LSU wins, but not shocked. I would say the same for any SEC team beating Kentucky.

It works this way:

1. Puff

2. Puff

3. Pass

You forgot the crucial third step and kept repeating steps 1 and 2.

I have been telling my friends this all week. Just a gut feeling but this team is really improving and LSU has a history of this. Knocking off a top team when we least expect it.

I'm the rare Kentuckian who values college football much more than basketball.
With that said, guess whose football team I've been a fan of for the last five years?
Yep, the Tigers.
So it is a unique position to be in this past 6 months, being able to root for the No. 1 football team followed up by the No. 1 basketball squad.
I'm just gonna close my eyes tomorrow until the dust clears.

You shouldn't get the pleasure of cheering for our basketball team unless you suffer through football like the rest of us.

I certainly understand that I'm getting the cake and eating it, too, this year. It's a rare, somewhat lucky situation to be in.
I guess I don't have to remind you how the national championship this year worked out for my beloved Tigers. No fan's life is free from pain. You just hope for more pleasure than pain.

I have a sneaky feeling that Craig James knocked off 5 hookers while he was at SMU*.

They said the same thing in '78 or '79 when we beat UK in OT with ALL our starters fouled out ! It can happen !

Oliver Brown and Floyd Bailey Baby!

No comparison between the starting 5 then and now. Won't make it to OT this time.
