Hattiesburg Regional Elimination Game: KSU 3, USM 4 | Final/10 | LSU will play USM

AKA the "LSU made a late comeback to beat us" game. Loser either goes home or stays there, winner has to beat us twice. Let's see who it'll be.

I should know this, but is the 2-0 team the home team tonight or is that determined by coin flip?
Or are we visitor bc we’ve been home vs both teams?

Still think that’s a mistake for USM. KSU is hitting the ball well. USM is in danger of looking past the first game, assuming they’re going to have a chance to pitch their best guy this evening.

We'll be the visitors tonight regardless of who wins, because we've been home for the first 2 games.

kennesaw is completely depleted so i'm assuming the mindset for usm is to save the starter and piece it together for this game. i wouldnt be surprised if we see 7-9 pitchers today for usm bc they have to save their bullpen at the same time.

It’s definitely a huge chance if they go that route. Last night their coach was asked how he’s going to move forward and he immediately said they’ll have to piece it together and a lot of guys that haven’t contributed much will have to step up. I expect he meant for this game but who knows- i guess in a couple hours we’ll know.

USM is in a damned if you damned if you don’t. The only chance they have to win 3 games is to save Riggins for game 2 and piece together guys who haven’t played against a really good hitting Kennesaw St.

And we've seen how good Kennesaw's bats are firsthand. USM will have to use Riggins at some point today.
