quote:Hey dickweed, why don't you click on the link to the thread so you can see for yourself, the guy was NOT being sarcastic about Tyler being better than JR. He was dead serious and argued for a several pages about it. He's now trying to cover his stuipidity by saying he was just joking. Go read the thread, asswipe, before you criticize my ability to catch sarcasm.
Dude, if your sarcasm meter sucks that bad you should just leave TD altogether. This is gonna be a tough place for you to read.

Jlsutiger, Why don't you stop starting crap on this thread. Who really cares? We support the same team. So, let's just get along. We are on the same side, remember. I was just being sarcastic. Read it yourself.

Alatiger, I'm just playing around with these ya-hoos. The only reason I started picking on them in the first place is because they started belittling people just because you gave them your honest opinion. Real LSU fans don't belittle each other. Real LSU fans don't support just the players, it is the whole team concept. I see a lot of it on this message board. They worry about KW getting playing time and not the team winning. These guys probably would rather Ryan Perrilloux back on the team just because of his on the field productivity. What a joke!

quote:Ok, I'm not going to get into it again about your idiocy. However, you WERE NOT being sarcastic. The quote above is what you posted after you argued for pages and pages and everyone kept calling you an idiot. You then posted that to cover your arse and to get people to stop calling you out. Anyone who wants to see your stupidity can click the link I posted and read all of your responses. Anyone who reads it will see you were totally serious.

Ok, I've tried to reason with you, but I guess it isn't going to happen. Maybe your young, I don't know. But, damn you are really naive and it shows. I argued with you and another poster about this issue. It's not like a hundred people were there or something. I just kept messing with you because all the negativity that you produce on this board including the comment about Hatch. Like, I said, we are supposed to be on the same team. I know you view things different than I and other posters. However, don't call people idiots because you don't agree with them. Be a tiger fan!

i tend to agree with the sane people on this board. If Lee was leaps and bounds ahead of Hatch, or even a little better than Hatch, would he be our starting QB. Do you really think that Miles and Crowton put guys out to play based on the seniority rule...really???? BC I was under the impression that even so, they have been under the system for the same amount of time. And for all of you that are jumping all over Jefferson, ask anyone who was at the last gridiron allowed scrimage. The guy threw about 3 or 4 picks. His throwing mechanics just aren't ready. Schesh...I thought Tiger fans were a little brighter, but of course we do come from a town where the second string quarterback is the most popular guy on the team.

Our coaching staff says Hatch gives us the best chance to win now. Rantards, have you ever seen Hatch play? NO Have you been at practice? NO
Did you say the same things about Jacob Hester last year when it was announced the was the starter? YES
STFU!

Hatch fits the offensive scheme better for what we want to do, but i dont really know if i would consider him the "starter" if your implying he is THE guy.
From what i've seen now, Lee is leaps and bounds ahead of him in the passing game while Hatch safely runs the offense and runs the ball well.
That said, Hatch can not throw us through games. Not at all. We've been comparing him to Mauck and Flynn and Randall, but those were all better pro style QB's.

he is starting so therefore.....
if he were not our best option I doubt that the staff would have named him that.
I do not care who QB's, as long as we win, and I am pretty sure the coaches are far more knowledgeable on the subject than I or anyone else on this board.
I don't care if bigfoot was under center for LSU, I will believe in him until proven otherwise.

I wish Hatch well......but I still say the Lee will be our starting QB come Auburn.

Good post.I don't know why the hell any real fan would be predicting failure. These idiots need to find a better hobby.

I haven't heard anyone on the staff say that, nor have I read a quote by anyone on the staff saying that.

Yes.

No.
With all that being said...Hatch will start the opener, but not because he gives LSU the best chance to win or because he is the best QB. Lee has had injury problems and some other things to deal with. When he is healthy and has proven his worth to Miles, he will be the guy. It will likely be week 2 or 3. There is really no comparison between he and Hatch.

I will support any QB the staff puts on the field. I think that JLee will have the opprtunity to prove himself and get some playing time under his belt early.
How well he performs will dictate the level of involvement (even to becoming the starter) for the remainder of the season.

He has yet to show anyone that he has the ability to overtake Hatch. Based on what we are hearing from camp, Jefferson could probably end up ahead of Lee at some point this year.
Where are you hearing this from? I haven't heard anything close to this.
quote:
They are all a push, but Hatch gets the nod thanks to seniority and maturity.
They have been in the system the same time, and their maturity level is not so much different that one will get the nod over the other.
quote:
If my take is accurate, there is zero reason to think that Lee will ever be a starter at LSU. Because, if they are all a push, JJ is more likely to pass Hatch than is Lee.
I do not believe your take is accurate at all then.
I don't know where everyone is getting the idea that Hatch is going to start. Coach Miles does not want to name a starter yet and let that qb get complacent. You would think after Lee has missed some practices very recently than he would name Hatch the starter if that were the case. But he has not hinted at it and therefore the competition goes on.
