I honestly believe that this game is "the game" of the BCS era...

I can't think of us losing. Just not...in my mind. We HAVE to win this game. There is no other option.

No, this is the strongest WANT ever. Irony of it is that it is much more than the NC. It's about correcting a whole society's attitude of disrespect while winning the NC. Plus I also would be wearing my colors, with a smile, every day past all the Bama fans.

According to Bama it's about "restoring order." Those two words right there piss me off more than any two words I've ever heard spoken between LSU and the gumps. They are playing for a chance to beat US once out of two games... And they are playing to tie US for crystal balls in the BCS era. We are the top dogs right now...not them anymore.

It seems like every game from game one was one that would have peen painful. All building a little more each week.

Just the opposite. LSU has done enough this year that a loss wouldn't be so bad as long as it isn't a blowout. LSU still would have a record at least equal to any FBS team. A loss vs Arkansas (again) would have hurt more than a loss in the NCG to me.

I was thinking about this last night. I feel like I wouldn't be able to breath if we lost this game to Bama. I would be able to handle a loss much better to any other team in the nation.. Just not Bama.

At least it will be a loss against an SEC team.

For us, yes. But that USC/Texas game in the '05 was pretty special. Teams started 1 and 2 and never lost. That was probably a bigger game. Actually going into it, the '04 championship game between USC and OU was probably bigger than this nationally. Of course, that turned into a route real quick like.

No where even in the same universe. I hate Bama's fanbase with every fiber of my being. I hate Bama more than most Auburn fans hate Bama.

If the unthinkable happens, I'm seriously going to have to move.

Easy for you to say. I'm guessing Gumps are few and far between in Bama.

Not even close. Too many arrogant, entitled gumps that I have contact with on a regular basis. It will be TOUGH for years if we lose.
