Noots gotta keep getting chances

He’s got really good stuff…if he doesn’t get behind in the count..he’s very dangerous

Will be pitch on weekends now?

Yes he has and is much needed with Guidry still out.

I think so. At least he could throw strikes last night. Some of the others were having problems doing that.

Sometimes bringing in a guy in the right situation allows him to flourish. Noot looked confident, knew he had a big cushion, and just dealt. Might be all he ever is at LSU, but that still has value.
Know what you’ve got.

Besides Cowan and Evans, Noot is probably the guy I trust the most out of the bullpen at this point.

Turned a corner…who knows?!? I know one thing he came in and threw strikes last night….in my mind that alone puts him above all relievers not named Cowan or Evans.

Sure looks that way. He looks ready for the weekend rotation to me.

A 10 year old could throw more strikes than some in our bull pen. Not sure what is going on. But if you can’t find a strike with your off speed pitch. They will sit on your fast ball. Nothing new. They need some work.

I think they need to adjust their pitch calling .I think they try to nibble too much when we have a big lead. I believe we're doing that because we're trying to get guys developed to try to reach what their ceiling is .
Maybe just start setting up in the middle of the plate and fire it in there when we have a big lead. Doing that will build confidence as well

I'm starting to think that our bullpen guys have zero confidence in their command. Your brain automatically makes your body try to adjust when it's not confident in what you're doing. That's why the mechanics look different every other pitch.

I wouldn't be surprised if we were able to go watch guys like ware and rizy during their bullpen sessions and they were showing completely different results. This thing is starting to really get into guys heads and they are losing confidence. The worst part is that it's almost the whole bullpen losing confidence at the same time.
Then on top of everything we have guys actually executing and putting the ball right where they want it on the corners and then getting squeezed by the shitty umps

He’s been pretty solid his last couple of outings. I think he’s going to play a big role the rest of the season.

He was a big time prospect coming out of HS that got drafted high. He has starter stuff but the injury slowed him down here. It's worth giving him more shots since we are struggling in the pen right now.
