of course not! Did Hugh Freeze ever have some imperfections along his offensive line? of course! Has Dabo at Clemson ever had to overcome some issues with his offensive line? certainly! When their lines were young and/or struggling, did Briles or Freeze or Dabo EVER abandon their SPREAD attacks and instead go max protection with 2 wide receivers? frick no! Did they repeatedly attempt slow-developing, deep or semi-deep pass plays when their o-line was struggling against sabama's d-line? frick no! Do those guys consider punting a good thing? frick no!

Don't look now, but LSU has actually done an amazing job covering up from injuries and a bad OLine to get us to 8-2 and #7 ranking.

I think the first 5 games we had a different OLine every game. That's a huge obstacle to overcome. Not to mention losing the best Olineman Ed Ingram before the season even started.

Yes, the 8 & 2 is good, except it includes an Ensmingered loss against Florida. Will we be Ensmingered at a&m? A&M is not a good team. Will you excuse a loss at a&m?

Orgeron and Ensminger both knew what the faults of Miles were. They both knew what needed to be done to improve the offense. When shite hits the fan though, they both revert back to what they know best and are most comfortable with, and that is not a modern offense.

All this simply is is an excuse. Its as simple as that. Its inexcuseable, but I don't think it ever changes as long as Orgeron has a heavy hand in the offense (boy does that sound familiar).

That’s a great point on the max protect. They ran their systems come hell or high water.

Dude... If you want to make a point, give examples instead of just blurting out "frick no".

Correct. We have leaned on our defense

No, you know who has done an amazing job of covering up from injuries, and a bad OLine, to get us to an 8-2 record? Dave Aranda and his LSU defense.

If you can't see that, then you just don't want to.

Yessir, those attacks are the only CHANCE against Sabama, and they worked on those attacks 365 days a year.

I'm giving an angry response because I'm fed up with O standing up there pretending they are doing what is best for LSU.

Just to clarify Ensminger owns A&M. I don’t like E as a coordinator but he has vestment in that game.

I don't see how that is relevant now that a&m has a brand new defensive coordinator.

Only reason we are 8-2 is because of turnover margin and the great field position as a result. This offense getting extra possessions and short fields has been the key.

I am going to say it right now, if we do not score 30 points on AtM, we will lose. They will score and our D will get worn out if we cant extend drives and score TD's.

I'm all for giving Ensminger blame for the offense not being where it should be. But, the defense let us down vs UF as well. They ran the ball all over our defense. Aranda deserves some blame there also.

Clemson briles did not play in the SEC. we do not have a spread attack. To be successful against Bama you have to run pass routes that attack all three levels of the defense. If you watch the game again Bama simply moved their defense up to the short routes.

Florida did the same.

I am not in love with our offense. Having said that we are not going to beat Bama running a spread. Clemson did not beat Bama in the national, championship with short passes. They had Deshaun Watson. They also could pass protect on third and long. We cannot.

We are below SEC average at offensive line and running back. We are above SEC average at most every other position. Still behind Bama on the D line. Linebacker and D back we are probably at parity with Bama. Bama receivers clearly better than ours as well. I guess we have to say Burrow is SEC average overall. We have been incompetent at QB for so long he just looks good.
