You’re not going to beat bama with a pro style offense either.

Ole Miss is second in the SEC this year on O and in scoring. They are running Freese's offense.

They scored on the opening series v Bama too.

Of course they didn't score again, but they did score. They ran for 115 and threw for 133 yards going 7-22. That's 248 yards and 52 yards more than we managed.

I believe this experienced version of Dan Mullen is always going to tax very good defenses. That's precisely why I feel you have to develop a great offense if you want to have a shot at 11 & 1 or better in the SEC. You need very good defense and very good offense.

Did E allow 11 tackles for loss. 5 sacks and 10 QB hurries. Did you watch the game? We could not get any movement at the line of scrimmage at all.

Even with all of,that we finally score and go ahead. Then our defense allows an 80yard drive right down our throats. Even then we could win or tie if we do not allow two rushing first downs to UF to run out most of the clock.

So we played well enough on offense to win. Defense fell apart in the fourth quarter.

As a major program. We can not hire Briles or Freeze. They are tainted.

While that's also true, I just don't think it's fair to put the Florida loss all on the offense is all I was saying.

Dabo runs a much more aggressive and creative offense, a true 180 to Ensminger and O. He did it very well with Watson, and he has continued to scheme it well. And I promise you he spread their asses out all night long in that title game.

You're right, but I have to say I expect LSU and Florida's defenses to be very good year in and year out, but I just don't think Ensminger can hang with Mullen. I see a bad moon there.

Will we be Ensmingered at a&m? A&M is not a good team. Will you excuse a loss at a&m?

Will you give the coaches some credit if we win?

Im not saying Ensminger is great or should even be retained as OC. Just saying give them some credit for overcoming a lot of adversity. Especially on the Oline.

How much credit do they deserve for winning a game they should win?

At that point, what we will be able to give credit for though is a 10-2 finish to the season, with a likely NY6 bowl bid.

You do realize ATM scored a whopping 24 points against Arkansas too?

Yes Sir, if we win AT texas a&m, I am going to credit the coaches. It's a very big game for jimbob. It would be a big road win for us and get us to 10 & 2 and solidified top 10 ranking. I will definitely credit them. But I will not change my mind on Ensminger's offense with regards to the future.

And to think, with a competent offense we may be 10-0 and #1. Sorry you don't want that, but the rest of us do.

. If you want to make a point, give examples instead of just blurting out "frick no".

Examples are dumb. Like the example of Aggie scoring the same as we did against Arkansas.

Look at the body of work and get back to me when the elite OC field 103rd ranked offenses. I am so tired of the "show me an example" bullshite.

When you are 103rd, your season is your goddamn example. When you are 21st as Jimbo is, that is your example too.

Briles is like 5th in the country in yards per game, that is the example.

Only a moron would argue the point that at many points in coordinators careers they have less than perfect personnel, but they produce. Production trumps everything...with a decent offense we beat UF and are going to the playoffs in an off year. That is an amazing job by the entire staff, sans the OC.
