it was pretty classless for les to call out an 18 year old and if he thinks that about kiel then why in the hell did he recruit him and offer him a scholly

It sounds like all you know about the situation is Les called out a kid for turning him down. If that was the case, you'd be right, but that's not what happened.

What are they going to say? "We want him to play second rate teams for four years and get skulldrug by USC every year in a meaningless game, behind a mediocre offensive line the entire time. Also, we want a second rate gameday experience, and don't care for the finer things in life like jumbalaya, gumbo, boiled crawfish, fried everything, and blackened alligator. We know he'll go pro one day, so things like championships and games with national implications have no bearing on our desicion to plan our son's life for him. But hey, at least ND will have another good QB to add to its weaksauce team, right?"

Lester? Who is Lester?
And you are celebrating the class of the family that screwed lsu?
Lsu seriously has a great amount of unintelligent fans. This is obvious.
Les shouldn't have said anything but the Kiel's aren't exactly in a position to be celebrated for what they pulled on lsu.

so what if he decommited the day b4 he was suppose to come to school, you still don't go out and say that he doesn't have the chest and the ability to lead a program

Your wasting your breath, some people will defend him to the end.

more coaches should take les's action to heart and make a movement to prevent high school athletes who are unproven on the college field from holding school's hostage. if you commit, you are committed. if you back out then you sit out. one year. it's that simple. it's not free to host these kids and there is no point unless they are truly interested. could they still hold school hostage by waiting to til the last minute sure? but schools will still recruit other players at that position and if that star player waits to the last minute he may not go to the school he really wanted to.

what about schools that don't honor a commitment or withdraw a scholly after it's been offered? should they too be punished?

I don't think it would be near as much of a problem if they weren't worried about situations just like these.

Nacho, absolutely. It should go both ways, not neither.

If by more class, you mean committing to Indiana then decommitting, committing to LSU, telling coaches he is enrolling early only to have a story written by the ND student newspaper break the news he is moving into the ND dorms while still committed to LSU.
Classy move there.
Think about it, you shake hands with a future employer who you just told that you will start Monday and Sunday afternoon you are setting up your new office up at the business across town who you signed with. Pretty crappy move in any aspect of life. Miles called out the guy's actions in front of a bunch of LSU's boosters and used Kiel as a segway to introducing Liggins commitment. I don't have a problem with it.

Wrongo.
He isn't just some random 18 year old.
Highly recruited, high profile high school recruit who was more than happy to grant interviews, take trips and enjoy the life of a high school recruit. However, the kid and the family wanted NONE of the responsibility coming with all the perks.
How the kid and his family handle this matter was lame and petty.
The media, which created this entire recruiting event, should be the very ones calling this kid out.

that's not a hard thing to do, Miles has lost his freakin mind acting like that.

Hey you dummy, he didn't decommit the day b4. He just flat out didn't show up to the early enrollee's meeting. They didn't even know until almost that evening. His comments were made a an LSU recruiting party to bolster up another recruit and fire up the fans. I'm tired of everyone talking shite about Les. If you don't like him than geaux fricking cheer for some other school. Either back the winningest coach in LSU history, who's brought us to 2 NC games in 4 years or STFU and GTFO.

You mean the kinda class it takes to change your mind the night before school starts, costing another recruit the opportunity to go to the school he wanted to go to?
What makes you think that Kiel had any knowledge that a kid got kicked out of early enrollment because of him? When he was recruited Kiel probably asked about it (EE) and was told "Sure, we have room for you!" I doubt they told him that he would be screwing over another kid.
The other kid was committed for like a year and yet he was bumped out for a kid who gave a verbal 2 weeks before classes started.

Id love to see Kiel like shoot a insult back and miles and than miles cussing out the kiels and it erupts into an embarrassing ordeal that is all over tmz.
