Defensive staff is in their first season. Have to remember they have only been here a few months. Offensive staff is in their 2nd under Sloan. Baker needs another season.

We had the number 1 offense with JD5. We would have been a title contender if we had a halfway decent defense last year
Underwood can give us the same kinda offense and our defense is somewhat better. We can be good again

The competition is probably suggesting that “you don’t want to go to LSU because everybody wants Kelly fired and that means all of the assistants as well.” I would be very surprised if some don’t jump because of Kelly’s hot seat and NIL money offered by others.

Every coach that has led LSU has had rough years. (Since 2000)
Saban's tenure here: 8-4, 10-3, 8-5, 13-1, 9-3
Miles' tenure: 11-2, 11-2, 12-2, 8-5, 9-4, 11-2, 13-1, 10-3, 10-3, 8-5, 9-3, 2-2
Orgeron tenure: 6-2, 9-4, 10-3, 15-0, 5-5, 6-7(he gets the bowl loss even though he quit)
Kelly's tenure: 10-4, 10-3, 6-4 with 3 left
The point is, we need to pump the brakes. Criticism is deserved when the team underperforms and there is certainly room for criticism this year, but to jump to "Destroyed LSU for the foreseeable future" is absolutely asinine. Ups and downs happen.
