conference and done so great that we said "Whoa, we really blew it!'? I believe the answer is pretty much NO. Yet, many times the coaches get raked over the coals when it happens as if they did not know what they were doing.

Ralston Turner ended up being very productive for NC State.

Eta: Someone beat me to it.

Ralson Turner transferred to NC State and knocked us out of the NCAA Tourney last year. That's the worst one I can think of off the top of my head.

The only player that is currently out there that could beat us is Malik Morgan. But Tulane is awful so that probably won't happen.

Jake Godfrey (had potential to be Sunday starter if he could find some control) is in JUCO now but is committed to Arizona State in 2017. Grayson Byrd might have been starting for us this year too. He plays for Clemson now and will be eligible in 2017. Both are guys I wouldn't mind having on the team now.

I thought of him. He is the best example I can think of who did pretty well. But as I said, it basically never happens.

A catcher for LSU transferred to OU and did really well if I recall. I believe he was a New Orleans native.

Ralston Turner was terrible at LSU. Then he was terrible at NC State until his senior year when he was just ok. No one who paid any attention to basketball was sad we lost him.

Ralston missed about five 3's in the last two minutes trying to hit the go ahead shot.

ETA: Not that we blew it with Rick Clausen, since he was never ever beating out JR but he did come back to sting us.

Wasn't there a guy from walker that ended up transferring to OU as well?

This was not long ago.

ETA: found him. Cody Riene.

Not really. That role is occupied by the Saints.

I disagree. He was one of the better players on our team when he was freshman back in 2011 I believe. Back when Trent Johnson and LSU were god awful to watch. But saying he was one of the better players on the team is not saying much at all.
