Why is Berry and Durham not getting touches?
Durham is actually a decent blocker. I wonder sometimes if his height may be part of what is going on there. He, Gage, and Jones are all about the same weight, but Durham is listed as 5'9. Gage 5'10, Jones 5'11. But maybe not. I'm also wonder if he ever fully got over those foot injuries.
He came into this season averaging 5 yards per carry on 251 carries behind highly questionable O-lines.
Both he and Berry will likely be somewhere else next season if they don't get many touches this year.
I would really like to see the return of the days when LSU had backs in the 5-10 to 6-foot-plus range in the 210-plus weight range as the default.
Spenser Ware, Charles Scott, Joseph Addai, Ally Broussard, Michael Ford, Alfred Blue, Richard Murphy, and Jeremy Hill seemed like they were coming in one after another. At times, they seemed stacked on top of each other. I hope those days aren't gone, but I think with NIL and the portal, they probably are.

Berry can’t block. There was a designed QB run where Leavitt literally grabbed Berry and shoved him into the defensive player because he wasn’t sure who to block. Leavitt was pissed.
Based upon that, I’m also not 100% sure that Berry knows the playbook. I hope he figures it out, but if he doesn’t, that’s on him. After that play mentioned above, they yanked him and that was it until cleanup duty.

Harlem Berry should be #2. I don’t care if #3-6 ever play.
