Of the ones that I seen play, its Eric Hill and its not close. Sure Michael Brooks is the greatest LB in LSU history, but he didn't hit like Hill did.

Why do people keep saying Bradie James? He wasn't a hard hitter, just a really really good linebacker

It's an age thing.

Brooks, Hill and the majority of the guys who will top the list, are pre-1990.

Jon Street ('76) - someone should go back and find the tape of LSU-OM '76 game when he hit OM RB Leon Perry (who was known in the NFL as a tough RB).
