Week 1 Opponents through 2026

Posted by presley10 on 9/5/22 at 3:29 pm
Hold on to your potatoes Dr. Jones - barring the addition of a "week zero" game, here is the current opening game through 2030.

2023: 9/3 vs Florida St in Orlando
2024: 8/31 vs USC in Las Vegas (9/21 vs UCLA in BR)
2025: 8/30 at Clemson
2026: 9/5 vs Clemson in BR (this may be a week 2 game)

Not week one games, but we already had Oklahoma on the schedule for 2027 & 2028 before they joined the SEC. 2029 & 2030 have us home/home with Arizona State

According to LSU football tradition...

In 1864 - "According to LSU football tradition, the name came from a Civil War regiment known as the Louisiana Tigers, which distinguished itself with its fighting spirit in the battle of the Shenandoah Valley, where it was said they 'fought like tigers,'" Fast forward to 2021...Online forum TigerDroppings is a virtual echo chamber and people are losing their collective shite every five minutes behind a keyboard. Our ancestors would be so proud.

re: Important Dabo contract dates?

Posted by presley10 on 11/29/21 at 2:49 pm to
It does not. According to the terms in his contract, the buyout owed to Clemson this year would be $3M if he leaves for another HC job, $4.5M if he leaves to be the HC at Alabama & $0 if he leaves to coach the NFL. It also contains a provision that if Clemson reaches the semi-final game, it triggers a good faith market review that keeps his compensation in the top three of active head coaches. If they fail to do so, his contract is liquidated.

Brian Daboll. Worked for Saban (twice) and Belichick (twice). I doubt that he would be considered, but the TD faithful need something to complain about on Monday morning while we're supposed to be working.
