was there and it was amazing. When that ball was picked, the stadium exploded. It was so much fun.

I was there in the student section. “Exploded” is a good word. My ears were still recovering almost an hour after that game. I seriously thought my eardrums had ruptured.

Back in the good ole days when fans cheered and actually came for the game and all the way to the end.

Fans are still staying for 2-2.5 hours. That just doesn't get you much further than halftime these days.

I was there, 15 yrs old, sitting 10 rows behind team on 50 yard line. Remember standing on bleachers yelling the magic was back. Great memory.

Hawthorne's call of the Twillie pick:

LINK

This is still, to this day, the greatest experience I've ever had in Tiger Stadium. I was 11 at the time and remember being absolutely devastated by the way the 94 game ended. Words can't describe how much I hated Auburn and wanted to beat them.

Their last drive to set up for the last play was agonizing, and when the pick happen I literally cried. I've never done that for any other win, ever.

My "Nix to Twillie" handle means a lot to me.

I 'member. Our season tickets were(and my dad still has them) in the Northeast corner. That marvelous play was right in front of us.

Is that also the game where the NEZ got so loud Nix thought he heard whistles and stopped playing, only to get DDT'd in the EZ for a safety? Might have been a different game, but IIRC it was "Bring Back the Magic" Nix to Twillie Earthquake II game.

It was so humid that night it seems like it took most of the first quarter for the smoke from the pregame fireworks to circulate out of the stadium.
