A Father’s Day Prayer
To those who became fathers this year for the first time—we celebrate with you.
To those who have lost a child—we grieve with you.
To those who are raising children day by day, providing, protecting, teaching, and loving—we honor you.
To those who long to be fathers, yet carry the pain of infertility, loss, or unfulfilled hopes—we walk with you.
To those who are foster fathers, adoptive fathers, stepfathers, grandfathers, mentors, and spiritual fathers—we thank God for you.
To those who have warm and close relationships with their children—we rejoice with you.
To those who carry heartache, distance, or brokenness in their relationships with their children—we pray for you.
To those who have lost their fathers, or whose fathers were absent, distant, or caused pain—we acknowledge your grief.
And to all the men who reflect the love, strength, compassion, and faithfulness of our Heavenly Father, we give thanks for you today.
Gracious Father, bless and strengthen all fathers and father figures. Grant them wisdom, courage, humility, and perseverance. May they know Your love, walk in Your grace, and leave a legacy of faith that points others to Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
