No... The difference is was that LSU WASN'T ready to play that night... and it showed early...………… With all that talent and NOT being able to even make a game of it is ALL on the HC....

To date under O, Canada was the only OC that put up points on Alabama.
Send me the memo when Canada beats Bama. Points in a losing game? Whatever.

Better yet, send me one when O has a lead in a game vs Alabama, let alone beats them. Okie dokie?

On the HC for hiring a non-performing OC. Orgeron took care of that.

Passing against Miss St - 137 yards, 44.8% completions

Strange how a team can look that disinterested in playing. I sort of felt the same way watching baseball at Texas this year too.

This link has all of LSU’s historical stats. Simply compare Etlings to Everyone else’s best seasons and you’ll see his 2017 season is 3rd in passer rating. He’s also top 3/4 in ypa. The records are better laid out in LSU’s media guide but you have to scroll through pages and I can’t get the exact page to link.

"Sure, boss! Elite passing game coming right up!" Then Canada proceeds to pass the ball less than any other Power-5 program in the nation.

What?

What evidence is there that Canada ever deceived the head coach in regards to the type of offense he was running?

The head coach didn't know what he was getting, both in terms of scheme and the type of man he hired, which is embarrassing quite frankly.

Ohio State vs Purdue in 2018. Just inexplicable.

I've been in a couple of those games in HS but we weren't very good to begin with

Don’t believe I was addressing you, was I Roger?

And where did you get this “I won’t be watching” assumption from? And it’s exactly that, an assumption. I’ve already had a discussion with you regarding that game and nowhere in it did I even insinuate I wouldn’t be watching.

7 points? Canada sure as hell didn't have his offense ready. What's all this puppy love for Matt Canada?

“Really??? OK the game against MSU... The LSU offense was just as effective as it was against BYU...…………..”

This isn’t true and has nothing to do with what I said.

I wouldn't argue against you on that. No facet of the team played well that night.

I'd only contest that it was a game early. With 3:30 to go in the first half it was 10-7, MSU. LSU didn't look good, but it was a game until the TD before halftime. You had a feeling then that it could be tough to overcome a 10-point deficit with the way the offense was playing, though.

and the record number of big plays?

I know Etling threw 2 Ints all season and his efficiency rating was high because of that.

The lack of turnovers was really the only thing I liked about Canada's offense.

Ironically was the difference in the Troy game.
