The LSU defense is a little concerning.

We will not play a better OLine then Texas this season. Hell we may not play a better team than Texas this season. They were well coached and ready to play. We didnt really bring pressure because we forced Sam to throw to beat us. He was up to the task.

At that point in the game the staff had to decide if they wanted to be aggressive and win the game or punt the ball and lose. I'm glad they went with the win the game approach.

Now if the defense had been playing great, or even average, you'd have a legit debate. But that wasn't the case.

He was going to pick up the first down easy. There was nothing wrong with the swing pass call.

Hanny doesn’t want to keep referring back to Miles era just appreciate what LSU has now.

LSU fans are not giving Texas enough credit. I appreciate this comment.

That’s a damn fine offense with a tremendous coach. LSU still made the plays needed to win on the road.

With confidence in your offense you still go for the win.

Look at the ND game. I would be so disappointed to lose a game last minute because we got conservative when we were torching them all game long.

Didn't Texas have to replace 8 defensive starters from last year's team?

Sure, but look at how shitty Texas was for a while. Replacing 8 starters recruited by Charlie Strong means that you probably upgraded.

This whole "Lost X number of starters. Therefore, they can't be any good" line of reasoning needs to buried once and for all. Saban has been reloading and winning NC's for years. The graveyard is full of people who couldn't be replaced.
