Whatever the problems are, qb, offense, defense,they need to be fixed. Plain and simple. I have supported Miles through everything but if the man doesn't have the capicity to recognize problems and fix them, then he shouldn't be coaching. Enough is enough with this shite.

I agree with him. But that concern will be settled once we get a good DC hire.

This team is going to be great next year. The insane talent is coming together.

Jarrett Lee was actually playing well until Jefferson returned

And how long did it take to insert Jefferson into games?

And once Lee finally threw an interception, how long until Jefferson was made the starter?

And once Jefferson became the starter, how many snaps did Lee get at qb?

So once again, Miles sucks at identifying a quarterback.

The difference between JJ/JL and AJ/BH is that when Lee played bad, Miles yanked his arse. That didn't happen with AJ this year.

Ok, I'm a noted Hannagriff fanboy. This is true. But I digress... And I paraphrase "For the First time in the Les Miles era, I am more concerned about The Program than I am about the team". Thoughts?

Disagree completely.

If Miles left tomorrow, there would be literally nothing to rebuild. Zero turnaround.

It really makes no sense.

You know what's combustible? I'll tell you. If I were an offensive or defensive lineman I would damn well give Jennings a piece of my mind and tell him he'd better complete the nest 5 damn passes or I'm coming after his arse. Light a fire under him. Nobody's doing that. No player is that fragile we have to tip toe around their feelings.

Nah, it's not like that. It's like the you can't squeeze blood out of a turnip thing. The physical and/or mental ability is just not there. He doesn't have it in him.

You have the roles reversed.

Jennings = Jefferson
Harris = Lee

I agree.

Only worried, it's not too far gone yet. But the direction needs at minimum an inflection point.

Actually, when JJ played bad Miles DIDN'T yank his arse. So no, the boy is consistent there.

Even when a train is heading over a cliff, he is going to stay on it, and then do some bullshite double talk in the pressers.

Instead of what he said about a starting QB for next year, I'd just rather he said, "I don't give a frick what any of you think. I'm going to do what I'm going to do. Screw all of you."

At least for once, he'd be honest with us.

Well Harris started sooner than Jefferson did, I doubt Jefferson plays in 08 if Lee didn't get hurt.

He also said, after a game in 2008 or so, that a Les Miles team would never beat a Saban led Alabama team ever again.

Go back and look at LSU's defensive end of year rankings since Chavis arrived and then compare the offensive rankings. Basing his whole career on that bowl game is nuts. This year, LSU ranked 88th in offense, 11th defense.

Beginning to think that has now become the case. You have to get up very early to beat Saban. If it comes down to "mental" things, it's not even a contest. Nick wins in a landslide.

Because the 90's were horrible.
