yikes...comparing Coach O to the hiring of Johnny Jones as being the easy answer. And that he thinks Alleva couldn't close a deal with Herman or Jimbo.

He's right, but it is what it is, and in no way do I think CEO will be as bad as JJ...
I'm willing to give CEO an opportunity like I did with Les when he was hired, I was not happy then, but I gave him his opportunity before going negatiger...

Everything he is saying is 100% correct. Alleva is lazy, unprepared and always makes LSU look bad in routine situations. He is killing our brand.

Well neither one of them are here...he doesn't have to think it, it's a fact. Doesn't matter why they aren't here, they just aren't. Joe Alleva showed interest in two candidates outside the program and did not close a deal with either.
Kind of looks like Alleva is not a talented negotiator/communicator and/or some coaches do not want to work with him, given his past history of sucking.

He's not wrong. Alleva seems to not understand that Hermans agents job is to get multiple offers and Allevas job is to finish the deal. A verbal agreement means nothing and Alleva is out of his league. He's spot on.

Jimbo wanted too much and Herman wanted Texas so how is either of them not being here his fault exactly? Not expanding the search is on him but not Jimbo and Herman

I wouldnt be surprised if Orgeron does well as HC. That does not mean that this search was handled correctly. Alleva was weak and lazy and did not do any due dilligence. He took the path of least resistance as he always does.
Alleva has mastered Louisiana politics. Hire the Louisiana native sons and keep your job. It doesnt matter how poor the results are, the locals will make excuses for their own.

JJ was more qualified for his job as head basketball coach at LSU than Ed O for football.
I have nothing against Ed O. He tried for the job and got it. It was a pretty amazing feat.
Incompetence goes uphill. Its fairly obvious Joe A is not fit for the job. Whomever decides whether to keep him is next. If they cant see that Joe needs to go, then its him/her/them that needs to go prior to hiring the next AD.
