Denbrock leaving us high and dry. No respect to finish out his coaching duties.

We don't need someone with one foot out the door. Let him go and Sloan and Hankton will get some needed experience.

Never really enjoyed the idea of Co-Coordinators. How would these duties be split? Will one attempt to outshine the other for a better look at the job fulltime? This sort of thing always seems to not go well. That being said, it likely won't have much of an affect on the bowl game, but is Kelly looking at this as a long-term solution?

Fair point; however, I gathered that 2019 was OC and Pass Game Coordinator setup. Are we saying this is what's taking place now? One of these things is not like the other is it?

This means Hankton has expectations to elevate to OC, and zero chance he will at LSU, so once he is not selected, we could lose him

We have tried the CO Coordinator before and that proved disastrous

this is correct, it wasn’t co-coordinators it was an OC and another coach.

Kelly won’t fire him he will let him find a new job to take and save face. Part of this is waiting until the NFL season is over, which coincides with the bowl game.

I don’t like it, because who decides if they disagree? Also, it will make it harder to evaluate Nuss. The fewer changes we make, the easier it would be to evaluate him. Also, though Denbrock may not be anything special without Daniels, we at least know he is competent. We have no idea what we’re getting with Cortez and Joe calling plays. We know they’re great at getting players to execute, but don’t know if they’re good at designing and choosing plays.
