you should get your money back

Oh, believe me, I got my money back many many times over. That is one thing I don't have to worry about.

Lets hope you can get some one day. That is if the flu does not get you first.

does that make sense?

Yes, thanks. The statement, however, implied that hep A & B weren't viral. Certainly they are, but the question simply is, will the H1N1 vaccine being prepared be effective and worth the risks present in taking the vaccine?

Your a Chemical Engineer. I'm a Petroleum Engineer.

That is why I have sense enough to be afraid of the unknown. Mother Nature screws me on a regular basis.

I will take you behind the woodshed about risk and statistics any day my friend.

So ok, u drill holes in the ground. Mother Nature can screw anyone at any given moment. Shall we get started with a simple PHA or should we go straight to a full blown HAZOP or would you rather do pure risk tree analysis. We of course will need to back all of this up with SPC data to make sure we stay away from bullshite. Name your poison.

more than likely not.

and from what i'm hearing, the vaccine that the government has cooked up is killing people.

right now, all there is is tamiflu, which just treats the symptoms.

I won't be getting the "H1N1 vaccine" anytime soon

Now that's funny. Yes, I can hold my own. Especially if there is some Soju, tequila or cachaca around.

I love to mess with people and test the emotional stability.

Well lets see. I am on my way out right now and I will keep that in mind.

I am sure that your prayers and my St. Christopher's medal will keep me safe.

We just need to worry about those other poor motherfrickers who might happen to get in my way.

OOOh Fancy acronyms. Now I'm scared. Your right. Banging hookers in Thailand must be much harder than finding oil in rocks 4 miles below ground. Why don't we do some Monte Carlo simulations on what a douche bag you are?

yeah, 78 is a big bag of douche.

but check this out:

quote:

The Green Wave takes the field without 27 players, 22 of whom are out sick with flu-like symptoms.

Contrary to several national news outlets, no Tulane football player has tested positive H1N1 virus, or the "swine flu." Two players have tested positive for the Type A flu, which could be H1N1, but results from the state are not back yet.

Meanwhile, the number of sick players rose from 18 to 22 by Saturday morning. The other five players out have injuries.

Many of the running backs are out, including Andre Anderson and Peyton Jason, No. 1 and No. 2 on the depth chart. So it's unlikely we will see a full-force offense without the Green Wave run game. Added to that, starting tight end Tyler Helm is also sick just days after moving to the No. 1 spot after Cody Sparks broke his knee cap Monday.

We won't get a taste of what this offense will look like until those players are healthy.

Members of the athletic department staff are sick, as well as one volleyball player. Surf back in a little bit for updates.

First of all, I don't bang hookers anywhere. I am happily married thank you very much. But so presumptuous on your part. You must have an inner need to as you say bang hookers. God such respect for the opposite sex.

We don't need to waste time doing a Monte Carlo simulation. I am a proud a-hole who will gladly help you find holes in rocks. By the way, keep that oil coming. I need it to make ethylene, EDC and VCM.

Dude I posted that link on the first page of this thread. At least I didn't miss the point of this thread.

Even the regular flu can be a bitch for a football team.

Grad 78 with his SUPER IMMUNITIES (never gets the flu, COME ON!) forged from banging tai hookers hijacked it and got us all off point with his right wing blathering.

The topic is relevant and important both in the context of attendance at football games and all public gatherings, and increased deaths globally. The H1N1 flu (known as swine flu)is a global pandemic that already seems to be striking the U.S. in its second wave. There is certainly no point in panic, yet it is worth a calm conversation about its possible impact. A report issued Monday by the President's advisors on science and technology forecasts this strain of flu to be a serious health threat to this country. Certain categories are at a higher risk and they include infants and children, pregnant women and those with chronic illness. USA Today's headline says it could infect half of the people in the nation and deaths could hit 90,000. It may not, but this flu should not be so quickly dismissed as it will more likely than not impact most parts of the country including Baton Rouge, where my grand daughter today was diagnosed with the swine flu.

Come talk to me if you break 150K before you retire.

With out people that do what I do there is no oil.

Speaking of which I think I'll go find some now.

Smell you latter.

PS. Thanks Doc for one of the best threads of the offseason.
