don't see Parker catching many balls in '25. Too many other weapons to go to.
This is probably true. It's going to be Aaron Anderson and Hilton getting the most reps imo.
Barion brown is so quick with long speed. If Sloan uses him right he could be that joker weapon.

thought this was Toviano's natural position?
Nah, to me he is more of a strong/box type safety. Seems to be a good tackler. I'm talking about an eraser/ center fielder type.
Tamarcus Cooley also looks like a nickel to me.

From what I’m hearing Spears has looked better than Cooley
Cooley looked kinda small and slow from the little that I saw of him.
I forgot to mention how nice it's going to be to have 94(zion williams) and 99(sydir mitchell).
The build on zion Williams is crazy. His center of gravity doesn't look like he can be moved.

Did T Francis early enroll? I forget.

No longer the standard. Need a vet RB in case Durham goes down early.

Not true but ok.
Is Hilton going to play this yr? I thought he wasn't playing last yr and was also transferring(according to you).
By the way, Hilton has looked great and will have a huge yr

Your Weston Davis take suprised me. Blake Ruffino has been saying he’s been getting worked by Patrick Payton

I just wish they would've added a true free safety. That's the one thing I think the defense is missing.
Spears on paper is a true free safety’s long, rangy as hell and elite ball skills. He heard he’s been outplaying toviano and Cooley in practice so far

Don't forget about nic Anderson and destyn hill. Anderson wasn't practicing yet,was he? Isn't Hillary coming off injury as well. I think hill is just a hail mary type transfer pickup. Just taking a chance and hoping he can be as good as people originally thought

The receiver spot might be like our outfield in baseball. So much talent that it can be hard to figure out who should be on the field . Good problem to have.

Yes, he's on campus practicing now.

Looking sharp from what I hear

If he stays healthy, you will be proven wrong. Coaches have loved since he got on campus

So from what I’m hearing about Cooley it sounds like Kelly really should have went all in on one of those playoff safeties I knew was too good to be true.
I really hope Cooley proves me wrong because LSU desperately needs better safety play but I’m not hearing very much out of him and that’s kinda worrisome.

Who he is going to pass up to catch all of these balls?
Right now he is at best the #4 WR behind Anderson, Hilton, and Brown. This doesn't include Zavion Thomas and Nic Anderson.
And those guys don't include Sharp and Green who will each get more targets than Parker IMO.
And that doesn't include the passes out of the backfield for Durham and Berry.
Barring a rash of WR injuries, I don't see Parker getting enough targets to catch more than 20+ balls in '25.
Too many other better options.

Right. He is small and looked to be behind in coverage. Hopefully he is getting settled in.
Like I've been saying they needed to go out and get a free safety. His teammate Fitzgerald would've fit that mold. They did go after the Jacksonville St safety but lost out.
