Mich helped pay RRods buyout. No way they let him go after one season.

Although it would be comical. But the ultimate meltdown would come from Gumptown if ND came calling w/ 7.5 mill per year.

Rodriguez to UM Fans - Get a Life..

The greatest spectacle in college football..

And I thought we were the most unrealistic fan base. Those UM people are totally delusional.

Ah the hopelessness.

He's here to stay. Had a chance to meet him this spring. Real nice guy. Very good in community. He just needs a DC on par w/ the OC and to continue recruiting well and we will be in the hunt every 3 out of 4 years.

defintely taking 10+ and the over on this. They will NOT fire Rod after one season. If he goes 3-9 next year he will be out though. Michigan just like Tiger Faithful will not be able to handle a total meltdown like this for 2 seasons. I know he just got there but in todays instant gratification society you better win now and not tomorrow

dreaux,

Even though your post was OT, it was stupid. Fisher and Pelini left to be the head coach at Florida St and Nebraska. Les didn't "run them off". No coach in his right mind would turn down those offers.

Who the hell would want to coach here when the fans want someone fired after 3 top 5 finishes in a row?

Rich Rod is not going to get fired after this season. Period. He will be given 3 or 4 years to get his recruits in.

the reason he will not bring a nfl caliber d coor is because he wants total control, he wants to be the DECEIDER. I am not saying he is insecure. But he seems like the type that does not want to bump heads with people that know more then him. Fisher gone. Pelini gone. Crowton may be different in that they have a special relationship. He is stuborn and has it in his mind that he CAN make this work.

no evidence to support this argument. If that was the case, Crowton would never have been hired. Why is Crowton different? What special relationship did they have before he was hired?

bingo. Im no huge Les guy....but this is accurate.

be happy with what you got. i will change my opinion if he doesnt make changes at the end of the year.

Mallory is our DC....but he is still a position coach...cannot have that....either Mallory hires a DB coach, or Miles lets him go and gets a real DC.

that changes....I give Les time, based on a National Championship and phenominal recruiting.

oh....needs to go get Camp Randle too

Rich Rod is out if they lose to tOSU and the UM is going to come calling. 50% of UM fans wanted him, now the vast majority want Miles bad.
They want there "balanced" football in Ann Arbor.

Then what guys? Stop all the negativity

so this is not a joke?

u do realize that it doesnt matter what the fans want or in some cases even what the school wants. if the coach doesnt want to go somewhere, it doesnt matter.

Les had the opportunity to go to his dream job last year, and he turned it down. why would this year be any different
