What’s more statistically relevant?

150 games (which is about the amount of SEC games that JJ has coached)

Or

13 playoff games

150>13

You must be one of these people that believes the Marlins from 97 to 03 were better than the Braves from 91-05

Don’t talk to me about statistical analysis when you’re taking 30 games out of 150 and applying that as the norm.

68-51 in the SEC coming into this season. .624 winning percentage.

120>30

Doesn’t matter.

We aren’t looking for sample size.

We’re looking for championships.

It’s amusing because you’re the one using one season’s results to come to a conclusion.

Ignore 2022 because…..well Jay did a good job. Ignore 2023 because Skenes. Ignore 2024 because they went on a tear in the back half of SEC play. Ignore 2025 because fluke.

2026 is obviously the only season that matters.

Problem being, only 2 regionals hosted at box in his 5 years.

The 2 nattys are great, but there are some other facts that are really troubling about JJs tenure here.

.500 SEC ball and less than half the time hosting regionals will eventually get you fired when the nattys dry up.

The fans deserve to question this year's team. The whole it's baseball early in the season got old real quick when the mid week games turned to multiple losses. A great team doesn't slip up and lose to mid week competition multiple times thru the year. A loss or 2 is more than enough for mid week games during the year.
