i played high school baseball w/ his dad Tim, at Acadiana High. Tim and his wife (gunner's mom) were high school sweethearts and as far as i know never once been apart. Tim was a big time athlete. qb of the football team and stud baseball player. got drafted to the pirates but chose to play qb in college. i remember he was recruited to aTm but ended up at McNeese. Currently he is the offensive coordinator at McNeese. I feel like his college coaching career will grow to bigger things in the coming years, if he wants it to. No doubt Gunner has a strong "sports mentality" growing up around Tim. i wish Gunner all the best....
