There is something in the water in Shreveport that makes sportswriters there hate LSU.
First of all, Guilbeau lives and works in Baton Rouge. Unfortunately, the Gannet news company owns the Shreveport Times and various other papers around the state. They hired Guilbeau on and publish his articles in all of their papers to save money on beat writers.
Second, the other writers in the Shreveport Times are almost always favorable to LSU, and LSU gets excellent coverage in the Times.

While it is true that Saban recruited and signed many players drafted, those coached by Miles have been drafted higher than those coached by Saban.During Saban,s coaching days at LSU, one can trace our losses directly to defensive backs blown coverages-ie IOWA, FLORIDA, ARKANSAS etc. Who do you think coached the defensive backs or at least was given credit for coaching them?SABAN. Guilbeau will never move on because Saban was the only coach who would talk with him.

1) Guilbeau IS an LSU fan.
2) GG recognized a shite stirring opportunity when LSU fans turned on Saban for going to BAMA.
3) LSU fans are feeding his intenet when they complain about this.
4) Saban DID have an eye for talent.
5) Saban DID NOT develop the talent, Miles and his staff did.
6) Glen Guilbeau is a douche.
7) Saban's last few players are almost all gone, so when Sheppard, Jones, Scott, Tolliver, etc. get drafted, Miles will get his due.

Those dipshit analysts have a hard time grasping this reasoning. I don't understand how a kid could be considered Saban's player if he played absolutely zero part in coaching the players' abilities. It has never made sense and I ignore people that use the "saban's players" thing because they just don't have a clue.

What if the kids were all 7 feet tall and freakish athletes? Birth parents get the credit for that.

Guilbeau lives in Baton Rouge, not Shreveport.

Actually I was thinking.... not a mother, but the whore who accidently got knocked up fricking someone else in Baton Rouge, then gave the kid recruit up for adoption, not giving a shite, knowing the frick market was better in Miami.
Then the parents who cared raised him, and molded him, allowed his to succeed in life.

Tyson Jackson lived about 50 miles form Baton Rouge. Saban didn't recruit him. Tiger Stadium did.
Guilbeau is really a poor writer. He writes things to stir up crap and get a reaction. He then uses it as proof that he has this huge following which keeps him employed. He did the same shite when he lived in Mobile. Writing stupid shite is easier then being a real reporter.

He only had offers from OSU and CU, he would have gone to LSU regardless of who was coach. It's not Saban magic

Say what you want, it's pretty impressive. By comparison, DiNardo signed exactly one (1) eventual first round draft pick (Booger).
