I just wish y'all could have seen the guy. I'm still laughing about it. He was not letting that kid get that ball.

I wish the guy would come forward and take a bow. I'd love to read his story.

I say 10 years old is the cut-off on when you should give the kid the ball.

Beyond pathetic on the old mans part. He taught the kid a lesson, a lesson in pricktology. That's why you guys are bashing children these days, because of the "lessons" taught to them by the immature "grown-ups" around them.

Welcome to the world young man.

If your parents didn't clue you in, well then, that's a shame, they failed, but fortunately, I'm happy to do the job now.

I don't care about you. You are in my way. Help me get to the things I aspire to, or step aside. If you do neither, I will move you. Bottom line, I'm getting to where I need to be. You are in my way.

The world is harsh. We can pretend to be friendly, and I'll give you change on the street, but other than that, step aside. Mom and/or dad might have said you're special, but I don't care about you.

Please tell your parents they now owe for the time they, and you, wasted in my life. I expect recompense for this time champ. And I'll get it.

Welcome to adulthood. Please don't asume we'll be this nice later. Today was special for you.

Step aside or I'll move you.

How'm I doing pal? Sounding 'immature' to you? You adult enough to deal with me? Me, and plenty like me, are out here in the world waiting for you. Go ahead, teach your kids how wonderful humanity is.

Grow up.

If Old Dude didn't push, kick, punch, Young Dude, then he taught him valuable lessons. (1)"You snooze, you lose", (2) "if you do not win, say 'good game', and train harder for the next opportunity", and "life is not a walk in the park, but a race for the prize".

I'd bet that any verbal confrontation was instigated by Young Dude not getting his way. Another life lesson,"better shut up, cuz Old Dude is bigger AND faster".

Congrats Old Dude. You love LSU Baseball enough to pull a hammy running for a ball, to go in your collection, or to give to a loved one. And you shared valuable lessons with a youngster.

Do you want the kid to start expecting handouts? I mean, does the world really need more democrats?

I thought the only thing humorous from Bucknut fans was the sweatervests.

I am middle aged.

I can say there is nothing that I can catch at an LSU game that is so invaluable that I would fight a child for it.

In fact, I have caught several things at LSU sporting events and I normally try to find the closest young child to give it to.

That item means the world to a young child. We live in a free country and everyone has the freedom to act like they want.

But, in the end, we all really deep down inside know what the right thing to do is.

I've caught several balls at various games and have always given them to a kid nearby.....heck they sell them at the sporting goods store for crying out loud.
